Description

The 2026 TCYA Taiwan Service Learning Trip is a 12‑day international learning experience that brings our Tzu Chi Youth to Taiwan to learn, serve, and connect with the heart of Tzu Chi’s humanitarian mission. Through hands‑on service, visits to Tzu Chi sites, immersive cultural activities, and meaningful exchanges with peers in Taiwan, students will explore what it means to “walk the Tzu Chi path” with gratitude, love, and respect.

This trip is organized by the Tzu Chi Youth Association (TCYA) and supported by Tzu Chi volunteers and partners from both the United States and Taiwan. Our goal is to create a safe and meaningful experience that strengthens character, builds lasting friendships, and encourages a lifelong spirit of service.

As our students complete this program in Taiwan, we hope they return with a renewed passion for helping their communities, friendships that will last a lifetime, and a deepened understanding of Tzu Chi’s humanitarian spirit. Above all, we hope this journey inspires them to carry the Tzu Chi Youth Association’s values of Compassion, Kindness, Joy, and Giving into every part of their lives.
